Overview
A shower tray that arrives already sloped. The fall to the drain is set in the mold, not on your knees with mortar — so the water goes where it should, every time.
The tray is waterproof XPS with a coated, load-bearing surface, ready for tile. It beds onto flexible adhesive, connects to the drain, and once the joints are taped the substrate is finished. Most bathrooms: half a day, not two.
Two things kill shower trays: a slope that puddles and a core that flexes. Ours holds the fall within millimeters across the whole surface, and the XPS core is creep-tested under sustained load. Every tray leaves the factory with the slope checked, not assumed.
Applications
Walk-in showers, residential and hotel
Level-access, barrier-free wet rooms
Bathroom renovations over existing floors
Steam rooms and spa areas
Fixing
The tray beds onto flexible tile adhesive over any sound, level floor — full contact, no voids, no mortar screed to wait on. Connect the drain, then tape the perimeter and every corner with self-adhesive mesh tape bedded in waterproof sealant. Cut edges from site trimming get taped like any other joint.
Once the sealant cures, run the 48-hour flood test before a single tile goes down. Most trays: bedded, drained and taped in half a day. The eight-step sequence is in our installation checklist, and the printable version sits in Resources.
