About TileBackerPro
Factory-direct XPS backer board and prefabricated wet room systems, batch-tested before every shipment.
Every wet room rework we have seen started the same way: water got behind the tile and found something to eat. Tile Backer Pro exists to remove the something.
We manufacture XPS backer board and prefabricated wet room elements in Hebei, China. More than 1,000,000 m² of board leaves our lines every year, shipped to over 50 countries. Every batch is tested before it ships, not once a quarter. We have been extruding XPS since 1996.

Our Journey
From XPS core extrusion to certified wet-room systems.
XPS Foam Core, In-House Since 1996
As XPS extrusion reached China’s insulation industry, the factory committed to making its own foam core — closed-cell polystyrene produced under one roof, with density controlled on the line. Because we extrude our own core rather than buying it, the XPS inside your tile backer board is a known quantity, not a surprise.
Two Decades of XPS Core Know-How
For nearly thirty years the line never stopped: extruding, tuning and re-tuning XPS core — learning how density drives thermal conductivity, dimensional stability and closed-cell rate, and why recycled filler quietly erodes all three. It is why the boards you order today hold their stated density, thermal performance and waterproofing, carton after carton.
Dedicated Tile Backer Board Line Built
The production line for waterproof XPS tile backer boards is expanded and commissioned — extrusion, alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh reinforcement and a modified cement coating applied as one continuous system. Boards leave the line ready to tile, which means fewer defects to sort out on site and more predictable lead times for your projects.
Shower System Components Join the Lineup
Presloped shower pans, curbs, benches and niches joined the board line, turning a tile backer board maker into a full wet-room system supplier. You can source the whole wet room — boards, pans and accessories — from one purchase order and one QC standard.
ICC-ES PMG-1804 & CE EN 13164 Earned
Independent verification from both sides of the Atlantic: an ICC-ES PMG-1804 listing for our tileable shower systems under IAPMO PS 106, and CE marking to EN 13164 for the European market under the Construction Products Regulation. For you, that paperwork means smoother approvals — inspectors and specifiers can sign off on our systems without waiting on extra tests.
IAPMO PS 106 Test Report & ISO Triple Certification
A full IAPMO PS 106-2015 test report covering our complete shower-system range — load, water-spray, hydrostatic and mold-resistance tests all passed — followed by ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification for quality, environment and workplace safety. For distributors and project buyers, that is a documented, audit-ready product line you can put your own name behind.
What we make: one system, not one board
The core product is a three-layer panel. Inside, a high-density XPS foam core. On both faces, a cement-based polymer mortar layer reinforced with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh. That structure is why the numbers look the way they do:

| Property | Test result |
|---|---|
| Water absorption (96 h immersion) | 0.8% |
| Compression strength | 361 kPa |
| Bending load, 12 mm board | 1,842 N |
| Sound reduction, 12 mm board | Rw,P 23 dB |
| Thermal conductivity | 0.030 W/(m·K) |

Boards come in 4–50 mm thicknesses, and sizes can be custom cut.
Around the board sits the rest of the system: prefabricated shower pans with a channelled surface that drains standing water, shower niches, pipe boxing panels, bathtub panels, toilet cistern panels, benches, curbs and shower seats. Eleven wet room elements in total, plus 13 accessories from anchoring nails to corner trowels. Browse the full system.
How the factory runs
Each production batch goes through absorption, compression and bending tests under EN 13164. If a batch misses any single figure, it does not ship.
The same lines handle custom work: cut-to-drawing shapes, non-standard thicknesses, private-label packaging. A distributor in Australia can get the same board as a contractor in Ohio, with different branding on the pallet.

Tested, not promised
ICC-ES PMG-1804.
Our tileable shower systems are listed by ICC Evaluation Service, effective July 2025. The listing covers compliance with the International Plumbing Code, International Residential Code and Uniform Plumbing Code across the 2009–2024 code cycles.
IAPMO PS 106.
Our IAPMO PS 106 test report (no. J251017003-1) lists 71 shower system models, with the tested samples identified: a 1,335 N load on the pan, then 40°C water sprayed for 30 minutes. Zero leakage at every joint. Drains comply with ASME A112.18.2.
CE.
Board and system elements are CE marked under EN 13164:2012+A1:2015.
Full test reports are one email away.

Triple ISO-Certified Management Systems
Beyond product-level CE and ICC-ES listings, our factory operates under ISO-certified management systems, audited annually by Zhongjian Certification (CNAS C007-M, IAF MLA signatory). Certificate numbers are shown on each document — verify them with the certification body any time.

Three ways to work with us
Want distribution rights?
We supply importers, builders merchants and tile distributors with mixed container loads, territory discussions, sample support and marketing material. You get a factory that answers within hours, not a broker relaying messages for days.
Want your own brand on it?
Our OEM and private label program covers custom sizes, thicknesses from 4 to 50 mm, packaging design and documentation. Your brand, our lines, same batch testing.
Buying for a project?
Contractors and builders get container-load pricing, cut-to-drawing service for odd sites, and stable specs from batch to batch. A 48-hour flood test before tiling, one hour to tile after installation.
Why contractors keep ordering
Tile can go on one hour after installation, because the system needs no curing time. A 48-hour flood test happens before tiling, not after the first shower. Boards cut with a utility knife on site, no wet saw — see our eight-check installation guide. Not sure about thickness? Read the thickness guide. And when something does go wrong, you talk to the people who made the board.
